We have had another wonderful week in Willow Class. The children all looked great in their Christmas jumpers on Thursday and enjoyed Christmas dinner.
This week, the children have been planning and writing a narrative based on the clip ‘The Christmas Truce’. They have focused on descriptive techniques and sentence openers. The children have also been working hard with their handwriting, it has been wonderful to see the progress made.
In Maths, we began our unit on ratio. The children have been using ratio language and symbols and also exploring the link between ratio and factions.
In Geography, we have been labelling height. We learnt that a contour is a line drawn on a map, that joins up places of the same height.
Well done to Jake who received the certificate in celebration assembly this week.
