We have had a great start to the term in Elm Class. The children have settled into the new routines quickly and are working really hard!
This evening your child will bring home a curriculum overview, which outlines our topics for this term.
The children are enjoying our work on WWI and have asked lots of interesting questions, which we will be researching within the coming weeks. In Geography we are looking at our country. Today we have looked at Google Earth and located the four countries of the UK.
We have been writing setting descriptions for our text 'Where The Poppies Now Grow' and we have been concentrating on using interesting adjectives. The children came up with some amazing sentences to describe the poppy fields after the war.
Please remember to read, read, read and use Mathletics.
Have a lovely weekend
