The children have enjoyed looking at poetry in our writing sessions this week. We looked at the poem 'I am a Roman Soldier' and the features used, then created our own version as a class and on our own.
A big well done to Oscar who was our certificate winner this week. He was courageous with his vocabulary choice and created a fantastic poem.
In Maths, they have been finding equivalent fraction families and adding and subtracting fractions.
The children have enjoyed finishing writing our rap in music, looking at why a mosque is a special place for Muslims in RE and creating their own mosaics in History.
Today we talked more about Mental Health Week and discussed our achievements, how we express ourselves and things that make us happy.
In Design and Technology, we have been cutting our material ready to sew our Roman clothing.
Thank you to all the parents who came to parents evening this week. It was great to let you know how your child is getting on at school.
It was fantastic to get the attendance cup this week with 100% attendance. Let;s see if we can do the same next week!
