A huge well done to all the children on their first swimming. We have 5 swimming sessions, so swimming will be on Friday till the end of the Autumn term.
The children are enjoying our class text ‘Thieves of Ostia’ which links to our history topic on the Romans. This week we were talking about Roman roads and towns.
In our writing sessions, we have been looking at the features of a character description. We looked more closely at pronouns, expanded noun phrases, descriptive language and commas in a list. We tried to use this features for our character description of Vivi. In Maths, we’ve been multiplying by 1 and 0, dividing a number by 1 and itself and multiplying 3 numbers
Our certificate winner this week is Charlotte. She showed great courage getting straight into the water during our swimming lesson and smiled throughout, even when she was splashed! Well done, Charlotte!
Please remember to read, read, read.
Have a great weekend.
