It was great to see so many parents this week at parents evening. The children have all settled really well into Year 4. The weeks have been flying by and we have only got one week left of the first half term!
In our writing sessions, we continued to look at biographies. We have been planning, writing and editing a biography on Bear Grylls.
In Maths, we started the week looking at strategies to check addition and subtraction calculations. We then moved onto look at area, where looked at what area is, counting squares to find the area and making rectilinear shapes using a given number of squares.
The children have really enjoyed our music lessons where they have been singing and playing the glockenspiel to Mamma Mia.
A big well done to Mia who won the certificate this week for working well as a group.
