In our writing sessions this week, we have been looking at dilemma stories. After finding the features in an example text, we looked more closely at conjunctions, expanded noun phrases and inverted commas for speech, which we tried to include when we wrote as a class and independently. We have also been looking at using apostrophes for contractions. For example, don't, can't and I'm.
In Maths, we have been looking at money. We have been looking at writing money as decimals, converting between pounds and pence, comparing amounts and estimating with money.
Well done Pippa who won the cerficate this week. She has been focused and trying hard with her learning, especially in Maths.
