Oak - 4.10.24

An end to another great week in Oak.

In English, we have written letters as an evacuee World War 2 child. We had to try put ourselves into their shoes by imagining the thoughts and feelings those children would have been through. We started to use front adverbials, which the children proved to be very good at.

In Maths, we have continued looking at 'Addition and Subtraction', where we have been practicing our formal written column methods to show our workings when working with larger numbers.

In Art, we have created some fantastic clay tiles to replicate the textures of birds and wildlife.

Our certificate winner this week is Gracie. Well Done!

Have a great weekend

Miss Hipkiss and Miss Nicholas
