Elm News 4.4.25

This week we have been thinking about what Easter means to Christians and tasted hot cross buns at the end of our lesson, they were delicious! In science we have been learning about where energy comes from and different types of energy, those that are renewable and non renewable. We have also tested our lunch boxes which we made for Pirate Paddy. They had to have a strong handle, be waterproof and keep the food safe from the sea gulls. We used a skipping rope to slide the lunch box down to test the handle, had paper balls to simulate the sea gulls and then used a watering can to test their waterproofing. We had a great time in the sunshine and most of our designs worked!
