Well, that's January completed!
We have read an old favourite this week - 'The Tiger who came to Tea' by Judith Kerr. The children have written a diary entry pretending to be Sophie. All the children have written in the first person and included conjunctions such as and, but and because in their sentences; well done!
We have completed our block on Addition and Subtraction to 20. Next week, we will begin Place Value to 50. Please help your child to practice counting forwards to 50 and backwards from 50.
Next week, all the children will be going outside to do Wild Tribe with Miss Harris. One group will go each day. Please make sure wellies, old shoes and old clothes are brought to school in a bag and left in school for the week.
