I thought you might like to see the “Winter” display at the front of our class. We were thinking about the colours you may see at this time of the year. In the school garden the snowdrops have peeped through the grass now – Mariah and Lily have named the ginger cat “Snowdrop,” she keeps trying to get into school through my office door! We also had a robin flying up the corridor this morning, fortunately it found its way out very quickly!
Here is the plan for next week:
I have seen some fabulous work this week from those of you working at home. We have sent out some “Crow” awards to Evelyn, Molly and Clover. We will be sending some more to Brooke, James and Andrew. In school Lily and Mariah have received theirs for their super maths work. On this subject, we have changed the maths lessons – we have still set fractions but we felt you may need to review some of your learning before we move on.
This morning we finished our spellings lesson quickly so we played “Hit The Button!” We tested ourselves on “Halves,” phew! If you want to have a go you can find it on this website:
The children in Oak Class who are at school made the following poster after they had listened to the Valkyrie music.
We are missing you all very much and enjoy seeing you all on the video links – so please try and make your weekly meeting, it means a lot to your friends when they get to catch up with you. School is very quiet without you.
Enjoy the weekend: I believe there will be some snow! The last time it snowed on my birthday I was 18 years old – now that is a long time ago!
Stay safe and keep well, Mrs. P xxx
Mrs. Smith and Miss Allison say hello too.
