This week we have completed our IT work: the children used “Clip” to create a digitally enhanced photo of an animal they had been finding out about in science. We have also completed a diagram about the life cycle of a bird.
For literacy the children have gathered key words and features which help Dick King-Smith create an atmosphere and build suspense through his description of a storm. Next week we will write our own atmospheric pieces.
In maths the children have successfully reviewed their knowledge about rounding and estimation: they are ready to move onto inverse operations next week.
The Christmas decorations are going up all around us- I hope you are enjoying the build up to Christmas- we certainly are in Oak Class. However, we do seem to have a very naughty elf who has taken up residence in our classroom!
ENJOY!
P.S. Christmas jumpers for Christmas lunch next week… ho ho ho!
