we have had a very busy week. The children have created and completed some super power points about an animal which would live at The Rea Brook Valley Nature Reserve. Hopefully, they will be able to email them via their emails so that you can see them at home. They are excited to share them with you and find out what you think.
In our maths lesson we will complete our work on place value and counting. On Wednesday we will start our new unit of work “Addition and Subtraction.”
During our art lessons we have created some beautiful Phoenix feathers for our book corner using hot colours – red, orange and yellow.
The children are enjoying their French lessons with Mrs Smith – ca va bien!
Congratulations to Fin for achieving the Golden Certificate this week.
The nights are drawing in and the days becoming much cooler. Everyone seems to be remembering their coats. It is time to change from shorts to black joggers for PE, the children will be much warmer.
I have put up an Autumn display in the class room – hopefully the children will be able to add some Autumnal items of their own. Mr P will start the conkers competition again so good luck collecting conkers.
I hope you have a restful weekend.
It was lovely to see the Year 3 and 4 having a super time on Friday evening: the singing was super and the hot dogs pretty good. What a great first experience overnight getting ready for Kingswood in Year 5.
Take care, from Mrs P, Mrs Smith and Ms Nicholas.
