I wanted to start by expressing my deep sadness and to say that my thoughts and prayers are with The Postlethwaite family at this time: Cleo was an amazing young lady whom I had the pleasure of teaching in Year 5. This is their time as a family to grieve together. and I fully respect their wishes. Cleo is and always will be a most special child to me.

Only one more week to go… we have had a very busy and productive week. The children have written some super pieces trying to persuade me that to be a Viking would be amazing. Please see the example of this writing written by one of the children, who incidentally also received the “Golden Certificate” this week.

We have started our work on multiplication and division. The method we use is available on the website but if you would like to support your child and are unsure, please see their homework book for examples or me.

I am looking forward to “Art” this afternoon when the children will be creating a “Rune” message.
