Wow! The children have created some amazing huts for the characters from “How To Train Your Dragon.” When you put them all together they make a wonderful Viking setting ready for next week when the children will use them as part of their mythological stories during “Book Week.” Hopefully, we will also be able to use them as part of the set when we write our scripts later in the term.

Next week we will spend our literacy time writing myths and reading books, after all it is “World Book Week.” There are lots of activities in the web if you google “World Book Week.”

On Thursday I have asked the children to dress up as a book character and if possible bring the book which has their chosen character in to school. Have fun making those outfits, it is not necessary to buy expensive costumes.
