It seems like an age since my last post! It was lovely to meet so many of you at parent evening. For those of you who could not attend I am happy to offer you an alternative time and date. I will be in touch.
We had a marvellous time during World Book Day: a huge thank you to all of you who helped your child to make their amazing costumes. It was difficult to choose a winner but I chose someone who had really tried all day and had a super costume. Well done Lily. The children enjoyed creating “Oodle Doodles” to celebrate 20 Years of World Book Day… here are just two examples by Tia and Mia.
The children have written the first draft of their openings to an adventure story: they are absolutely amazing. Again it was hard to choose one example but I have chosen Jack’s and he will be awarded the “Golden Certificate” this week for his hard work. Look below for an example of his work…
We continue to problem solve with multiplication and division.
Next week it is “Science Week,” our theme is “Exploration and Discovery.” It just leaves me to say have a super weekend, I shall be celebrating Mr.P’s birthday with some tasty tapas, Mrs.P. x
