Let’s go fly our kites! The children really enjoyed testing out the kites they made in science lessons. The kite made by Makai, Courtney and Abi flew wonderfully. The air resistance of the square shape helped and enabled the kite to fly really well.
As you can see, everyone had a great time and they learnt an awful lot about air resistance. Next we move on to learning about the wildlife in Alaska.

We are now looking at working out multiplication and division using a formal written method. It is essential the children continue to revise their tables so that they can recall them quickly.
