What a busy week we have had! Christmas is always a very special time of the year in school even if we do have a very naughty, bored elf called Frank who gets up to mischief during the night when the children are at home!
“Way hay, getting ready to climb down all those chimneys.”
The children have been amazing, they have completed their literacy unit so they will be ready to start their poetry unit next term. We are still working on multiplication and division in maths so any extra time given to a quick recap of times tables would be very useful.
Please make sure your children try to read each day, especially all those wonderful, new books Father Christmas will be bringing them. I will ask them to remember to record their reads in their reading diaries.
“This is a really good example of some comments Keeley made in her reading diary this term, thank you… 3 raffle tickets for you.”
A huge thank you for all of your support this year. I am really looking forward to our new theme next term, all will be revealed when we come back to school but just a little hint… their will be wolves and snow and robins involved!
Have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Thank you for all the super cards and presents, Mrs.P x
