This week we have finally finished launching our rockets: the long, thin, aerodynamic shapes launched the furthest. We begin our new science theme all about forces next week. We are getting to grips with the ways in which “reasoning” and “problem solving” questions are presented in maths. The children have started their “Times Table Challenge,” some have landed on Earth! I am sure they will explain what this means.

Up, up and away…

During this week we were fortunate enough to have a visit from the Royal British Legion, following this the children composed an excellent poem, (Please see attachment.) We also made poppies which are on display in the classroom and outside Mr.P’s office.
