Hi,
we have had a very busy week, the children have completed lots of assessments. With this in mind they deserve their visit on Monday to “Acton Scott Farming Museum.”
The weather forecast for the weekend is very wet and windy but it should brighten up on Monday. So, the children should wear warm and waterproof clothing. They should wear their school sweatshirts with trousers, jeans or leggings. If they have waterproof trousers… great. They may bring wellingtons too, please name them and put them in a plastic bag. Strong, waterproof shoes or trainers would be great to change into. They should have a packed lunch and drink, carried in a rucksack or shoulder bag which is easy to carry. Also fruit for a snack, they will get hungry with all that wonderful fresh air!
We will be out of doors all day, except lunch time when we will be able to eat in the chalet.
Year 1 and 2 had a great day, so we are all looking forward to Monday when the children will learn all about farming during WW1.
Hopefully everyone should have a super weekend when “Storm Callum” has finished.
Mrs.P.
