What an amazing, if a little tiring, two weeks we have had.
Kingswood was fantastic, every child who came with us challenged themselves and made wonderful achievements and memories. We have been composing sentences which capture how we felt about Kingswood, here are just some of those sentences…
“It was hilarious… in Mini-Olympics you had to pretend to be a chicken and lay a square egg!”
“It was scary but fun… the sun came out on the crate stack and it was so worth it.”
“It was ace… I had to run around finding clues, it was a team activity.”
This week we have settled back into school routines. Today we will finish our unit on biographies, however, I have asked the children to write a biography about someone they find interesting for their homework this week.
We have revised how to round numbers and next week we will use negative numbers and then Roman numerals.
The children have painted some beautiful “Poppy” scenes from the book “Where The Poppies Now Grow.” Please see the photo below.
Finally, a huge thank you for the contributions today. The children look very colourful in their RED outfits.
Have a great weekend, Mrs.P.
