The children have worked really hard this week. I have been really impressed by their learning in science, “Forces.” They know what a force is, how it works, how you can measure a force and they have investigated the relationship between a force and friction.Would you know which would be the safest surface to wear your trainers on and why? If not your child should be able to explain to you.
Cleo produced an excellent piece of science which was beautifully presented too, well done. Raffle ticket for you today.
We have started to add our own ideas and change Michael Morpurgo’s poem “Coming Home.” The final group have visited Belvidere to begin designing and making their “Clocks.” The first group’s work is now on display on the window-sill near the staff room.
Finally, we are getting to grips with applying our knowledge about area in some quite tricky questions.
My “Golden Certificate” winner this week is Cleo Postlethwaite for her super work in science.
Have a super weekend, Mrs.P x
