As they say at Chinese New Year, “We hope you get rich!” The children have had a super day finding out how the Chinese culture celebrate New Year as part of their PSHE studies about “Differences and Diversity.”
We have finished our power points to show the weather in Alaska, again the children worked very hard and this weeks winner of the golden certificate presented hers to the class with confidence even though she was very nervous. Well done Phoebe Robson.
Here is Libby and Rio’s weather forecast power point… it was hard to choose one because they were all so good. Mind you, you will be able to see them all on Parent Evening when we come back.
It just remains to say have a wonderful half term. Please keep reading over the week. The children also have an art project to complete over half term, they know what to do and I have given them A3 paper to help… Good Luck, Mrs.P.
P.S. It is World Book Day on Thursday 1st March, I have asked the children to dress up as a book character and bring the book along too with their character in it. Please do not buy costumes, ask them about Torak and Renn, these would be very easy to make at home.
