We have had a great day at Hoo Zoo. The children enjoyed looking at all the animals, especially the dinosaurs and loved feeding the deer. They were all well behaved and did us proud. Well done Year One!

In Literacy, we have continued to look at ‘Where the wild things are’ and the children have been retelling and writing the story. In Maths, we have been looking at ordering numbers and one more/less.

This week we have also been grouping groups animals, talking about caring for others and what makes us unique.

The weather has been very hot and we have talked about staying safe in the sun. As the weather is getting warmer please can you make sure you apply sun cream to your child before coming to school and they bring a sunhat and water bottle. Thank you.
