This week we have been reading the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and talking about our favourite parts and characters. We’ve also been using our imaginations to think about what else could be at the top of the beanstalk instead and what alternative treasures the giant could have had.
In maths we have been looking at comparing and measuring height and length and making sure we are using the correct vocabulary to talk about it.
The children all looked fabulous in their outfits yesterday for World Book Day and everyone had a fun-filled day.
Next week, Parents Evening for Holly A is on Monday and Tuesday after school. All Teams appointments have now been sent out so please contact me on email@example.com if you’ve not returned a slip to make an appointment or if you would prefer a phone call rather than a Teams meeting. Thank you.
Also on Tuesday, Holly A is going on the trip to Shrewsbury Museum to take part in the Dinosaur Detectives workshop and have a look around the museum. Holly B will be in school in PE kits on Tuesday as normal and will go on the trip on Wednesday. If we have not received your signed permission slip, your child will not be able to join the trip so please return it as soon as possible.
Have a lovely weekend and don’t forget to keep reading! 🙂
