Hello everyone,

We are nearly at the end of term!

In Literacy, we have completed our final unit on poetry. The children have been using similes and metaphors to create their poems. It has been great to see the collaborative work happening.

In Maths, we have come to the end of our unit on measure. The children have been adding and subtracting different volumes. We used the beakers and water, all the children ensured their measuring was accurate.

Just a note to say, can children bring in all of their school reading books back into school on Monday. During the summer the Shropshire Libraries have made a Summer Reading Challenge promotional video which is available on the Shropshire Libraries’ YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9MfEnMSv2Q

It explains what the challenge is, how children can get involved and what events and activities libraries have got on over the holidays, to keep up the reading!

The children will be bringing books home next week, if you have a strong carrier bag that they can used, please send this in with your child next week.
