Hello everyone,
This week in Literacy we have been planning, writing and editing our own poems using rhyming couplets and onomatopoeia. We then put all of our poems together to create a class poetry book, which we can all enjoy and share.
In Maths, we have been learning how to multiply and divide by 8. Please continue to learn these at home, as this has a positive impact on your child’s learning.
During our topic work, the children created some fantastic self-portraits in the style of a Tudor, I am looking forward to putting these on display. In Year 3 we are learning the Christmas song, ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’. I have handed the children a copy of the lyrics to take home and learn.
Please remember that one of the measures in place at the moment, to help keep everyone safe, is we are trying to minimalize the amount of items the children come into school with. Therefore personal belongings like pencils, pens, notebooks and other items need to be kept at home. Thank you for all of your recent support.
Have a great weekend,
Miss Bliss, Mrs Davies and Mrs Evason
