Hello everyone,

We have had a lovely first week back after half term- what wonderful weather too!

In Literacy, we have started our unit on play scripts. We have been looking at the features of a play script and have been acting out a play script from a well-known traditional story ‘The Ginger Bread Man’.

In Maths, we have been focusing on money. We have recognised coins and notes, added and subtracted amounts of money and given change. Why not continue to practise this at home by encouraging the children to help out with the shopping. They could add and subtract items and calculate the change needed at the till.

Just a reminder that the children will have tennis each Monday for the next 4 weeks. Please can they come into school ready in their P.E and with a water bottle provided.
