Hello!

Welcome back for our final term!

In Maths we have started our new unit of learning- Time! What a great start the children have made with this, we have started by learning to read the time to the nearest 5 minutes and 1 minute. It would be great if you could continue to practise this skill at home with your child, encouraging them to tell you the time.

In Literacy we have begun our new unit of learning- Historical Stories. We have been reading a Historical story about shadow puppets and have been exploring the features as well as retelling the story.

On Wednesday, it was World Environment Day- the theme for this was ‘air pollution’. We took the opportunity to discuss about the key theme for 2019 which is ‘air pollution’ and how we can help reduce air pollution and save the environment. We worked in groups to plant our own fruit and vegetables in potting trays and discussed the benefits of planting your own food on the environment.
