Hello

What a great Friday morning we have had, Year 3 were visited by the local fire service! They came into class to talk to the children about keeping safe. After our talk we went outside and the children had the opportunity to explore a fire engine. I was really impressed with the children’s questioning skills throughout the session- well done.

In maths we began our new unit of learning- addition and subtraction. This week we have been looking at adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers and 100’s as well as 3 digit numbers and ones.

In literacy we have been continuing our exploration texts unit. The children have been looking at all the different grammar features: conjunctions, tenses and openers.
