Hello everyone,

The weeks are going very quick and we have one more week until our final term!
In Literacy, we have been focusing on gramma this week. The children have been using speech and fronted adverbials. We have also been linking this to our reading, spotting the speech and the fronted adverbial as we read our class book.

In Maths, we have been focusing on dividing 2 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers. We have been using grouping, number lines and short division to solve calculations. I have been impressed with how well the children have understood the short division method- well done!

Just to mention that if your child currently accesses the intervention ‘Nessy’ in school, they can also do this at home on an electronic device. I know some of the children have been using this at home and have really enjoyed their success.
