In Literacy, we have been planning our persuasive letter to a stone age person, responding to the letter they send us last week. We have though carefully about the paragraphs we want to use, the emotive language and rhetorical questions we will include.
In Maths, we have finished our multiplication and division unit. It was been wonderful to see the children’s progress during this unit, particularly their confidence with division. We will continue to learn our times tables regularly and hope the children keep this up at home too!
In History this week, we were able to ask a stone age person questions about the stone age period. We have discussed the purpose and audience of our electric vehicles in Design and Technology and have learnt more about every day electrical appliances in Science.
We have set up a reading challenge within the class to try to reach 550,000 words as a class! We are so close! Please help us to achieve this by encouraging your children to read daily at home, we check reading records every day at school.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Bliss, Mrs Martin and Miss Harrison
