Hello everyone,
Thank you for all of your support with comic relief! We have a great day, sharing our funny jokes certainly made us smile!
This week in Literacy, we have been looking at writing our own historical stories based on a well-known story but with a twist! The children have showed excellent creativity, telling the story from another perspective.
In Maths, we have started our fractions unit of learning. The children have been learning all about halves and quarters and have been off to a great start with this unit!
In our topic, we have learnt all about pyramids. We found out that one pyramids height was 230m, which we worked out was 8 laps of the netball courts. We gave jogging/walking the distance ago to get an idea of the size! We also designed and built a pyramid structure, using straws, plasticine and card. Next week, we will be learning about hieroglyphics.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Bliss, Mrs Davies and Mrs Evason
