I hope you have all had a great week!

In Literacy, we have been focusing on a range of grammar this week. We have been learning about synonyms to up-level our vocabulary, different sentence types and apostrophes for possession. We have also been focusing on our handwriting skills, making sure we have clear ascenders and descenders and correctly joining our letters.

In Maths, we have been focusing on time. The children have been reading clocks and finding the time to the nearest 5 minutes and 1 minute. It would be fantastic if the children could practise this skill at home. Why not ask them to tell you the time at different points in the evening for example: Dinner time and bed time.

The children have been really enjoying our weekly times table challenge, please continue to practise these at home.
