This week we have been celebrating Science Week! We have been carrying lots of activities and experiments linked to our Year 3 topic Rocks. The children have made Lava Lamps, grouping rocks, researching the Scientist Marry Anning, building and erupting a volcano and fossil making. I have been so pleased with the children’s questioning skills during discussions and the children’s ability to observe closely.
In Maths we completed our end of unit assessment for measure. It’s great to see what the children have been able to retain during the unit- well done!
Thank you to all the parents who have sent in costumes for our performance. If you are having any difficulty sorting a costume out, please come and let us know as we are happy to help.
Please remember to return trip slips in as soon as possible.
Have a good weekend,
