Hello everyone,

This week in Literacy we have been looking at the grammar features, the children have been learning about determiners, subordinating conjunctions and adverbs. Next week, we shall be writing our non-chronological reports about the Tudor sport jousting.

In Maths, we have begun our multiplication unit, focusing on our 2x and 5x tables. It would really support your child’s learning if they could be practising these tables at home. As part of our Tudor topic we have been looking at the Tudor family tree. Thank you for all of the fantastic homework I have seen linked to this topic. It is great to see the children’s enjoyment for this subject continue at home.

It was Children in Need day on Friday and all the children made a big effort, thank you for your support. We completed ‘Act your Age’ challenges where the children had to complete 7 or 8 circuits of activities or tasks.
