Hello everyone,

On Thursday we had a visit from Santa and today we had our Christmas dinner, it is feeling very festive around school! Next week is the final week of the autumn term and we will be completing lots of fun festive activities.

This week the children have been completing assessments. I am so pleased with the hard work everyone has shown during this week and the progress each child has made this term. The children also completed a Star Reader assessment and have been given a new ZPD number and book band based on their result.

In our topic work, have been learning about Tudor building. We have been learning about the different features of a Tudor house and comparing a range of Tudor houses. We also sketched our own Tudor house, looking at different of pencil techniques and shading to add detail and colour.

Just a note that there will be no spellings this week.
