Hello everyone,

This week we have been completing our assessments in reading, writing and maths, they have all worked incredibly hard. I will be providing verbal feedback to each child and using these assessments to create new targets for the spring term.

In topic, we have finished our topic on ‘Extreme Survival’. What a wonderful topic this has been, we have had lots of fun from our survival day and overnight camp out to creating our own extreme miniature habitats. Please ask your child what their favourite part of the topic was!

This week I have given each children their reading ZPD following their Accelerated Reader test and have written this in the back of their reading records. Please take time to discuss this with your child. It really is important that they continue to read at home daily so that they can compete more quizzes on their books in school.
