Hello!
This week the children have been enjoying Art Week in school. Our focus as a school has been Vincent Van Gogh’s piece ‘Sunflowers’ and each year group have created their own versions. The children drawn and painted their version of the sunflowers and even had a good at mixing colours to create different colours and shades.
As well as our sunflowers we have also been busy creating lots of art linked to China. We have had a go at Chinese writing, created our own lanterns, made Chinese dragons and looked at willow pattern plates. The children have created some fantastic pieces of artwork which I am looking forward to displaying!
Next week is half term, I hope you all have a great week off and I will see you all back on the 3rd of June to begin our last term!
