Hello!

What beautiful weather we have had for most of this week! I have been really pleased to see many children coming into school with water bottles, hats and sun cream applied ready in the morning- thank you for this! Just a reminder to label these all hats and jumpers so that these do not get lost.

This week in our literacy we have been finishing our final week working on explanation texts- the children have been writing an explanation text all about a dragon (linking to our China topic). They have had super ideas about a dragon’s diet and habitat!

In mathematics we have been continuing our work on fractions. We have been adding and subtracting fractions and discussing rules to follow when doing so. The children have shown excellent understanding with this and have been able to add reasoning to their answers- super!

Next week we have art week! I have asked the children to bring in any jars that they may have at home into school for Monday please.
