Oak Class “Water Lilies.”
First week back and the children have worked hard. They have been very noisy but hopefully it is all the excitement of Bonfire Night and Parents Evening. Thank you to all of you who came, I shall try to catch up with those of you who could not come.
As you can see the class painting inspired by Monet’s “Water Lilies” is beginning to take shape.
We have learnt all about negative numbers which relate to temperature and sea levels. The children have worked on their poetry unit and are ready to compose their own next week.
Next week is “Anti-Bullying” week where we focus our PSHE on the true meaning of bullying and cyber bullying. We are hopeful to have composed a class poem and illustrations along the theme of… “Change Starts With Us…”
We are lucky to welcome Miss Ray who will be teaching alongside myself and Mrs Smith in the coming weeks- the children will really benefit from the added support we will all be able to give them.
Finally let me wish you all a super weekend. Thank you for the stunning project work the children completed over half term Those who did not manage to make anything have had the opportunity to create a “Sprite House” in school today. Please see photo below.
Well done.
