Another fabulous week! All the children have shown they are very good at recording data using Tallies and can read information from a block graph. Next week we will begin to learn about 2D and 3D shapes. It would be a great help if you could point these out as you find them around the house and the outside world.
In literacy we have finished our story unit and will be starting to work on poetry until half term. The children had fantastic ideas for their own version of our book.
We continue to learn about what went on in London in 1666. It has been great to compare maps of London in the past and present day. We will soon be building our model of Tudor London so please continue to send in cereal or similar sized boxes. We will need to represent houses, churches, cathedrals, bridges and lots more!
Please keep reading little and often.
Many thanks,
Mrs Dowell
