This week the children have written a recount of a short film clip called ‘The Fox and the Mouse’ as part of their assessments. They have included lots of description and even added some adverbs to their sentences – well done!

Next week we will be starting to learn more about the story of Christmas and the real meaning behind the celebration.

In maths, we have been  learning to draw pictures to represent multiplication sentences. They are all becoming a lot better at explaining their methods when talking about equal groups. Next week we will start to look at arrays which is equal rows and columns to represent multiplication.

Some pupils still need help to count in 2s, 5s and 10s. Please support them with this as much as possible.

Please send costumes into school in a clearly labelled bag.

If anyone has any spare elf or fairy costumes we could borrow it would be greatly appreciated.
