I’m so impressed with how wonderful your children have been for this half term. It’s been a tough one but we’ve made it to half term!
Their attitude to their learning has been very positive and they have all made progress from where they started in September. Well done!
Everyone has brought home a poem that they have written in class. We would like to give you the opportunity to see their writing and for them to explain what we did in the lead up to writing their poem. There’s lots of work during the planning stage to make sure they have lots of ideas when they come to write. Please ask them about what we have done; ask them about the videos we’ve watched, the group work they’ve completed, what Magpie Words are and about The Washing Line!
After you’ve talked to your child, please fill in the back of the sheet and send back to school after the holidays. Thank you!
Have a fabulous half term but please keep reading, practising spellings and learning the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. They also need to start counting in 3s!
Thank you for all your support at this weird time, it’s really appreciated.
