This week we have used adjectives to describe our new characters and used verbs to show how our characters move. Next week we will be writing our new story based on The True Story of The Three Little Pigs.

All the children are enjoying their maths lessons with Miss Childs. They are learning to recognise coins and to make the same amount in different ways. They are starting to recognise that £1 is the same as 2 x 50p. They need more practise to understand that there is no 3p, 4p, 6p, 7p, 8p or 9p when making an amount!

We have successfully used out Design and Technology skills to build our castles showing a drawbridge, battlements and towers. I hope you all saw a photo of your child’s castle yesterday. They were all given one to bring home. Although they were encouraged to recycle their left overs at school, some children insisted on bring them home. Let us know what they build with them!
