Yay, we’ve finally made it! It’s been a long term and the children have all worked so hard. Everyone is tired and ready for a break. We need to remind ourselves that this year group have not yet completed a whole school year in school, hopefully this year will be the one! If anything changes for the New Year, the timetable of remote learning will be on the Elm Class Information page on the website.
This last week we have made Christmas cards, completed Christmas Maths challenges and had a lot of Christmas fun. All the children have been learning why Christmas is important to Christians and I am confident that they could all answer this question in their own way what ever their personal beliefs.
It has been great to see them in their festive outfits and we have enjoyed playing the Christmas music each morning, there’s been a great buzz in the school. Today, we all had a Christmas dance on the playground, it was great fun! This afternoon we watched a Christmas movie whilst snacking on popcorn and juice.
The link for the Christmas Performance of Gnome Alone will be sent to your child’s email address. I have sent them another copy of their email details (it’s the same one we used for Parent’s Evening). If you have any problems at all, please email email@example.com and I will try my best to help.
Finally, thank you for your gifts and kind words. Have a very Merry Christmas and I’ll look forward to seeing you all in the New Year!
