This week we have started to learn about statistics in maths. We have collected data using tallies, pictograms and block graphs. This is another area where children need to learn their times tables to be successful. Please keep practising,

Spellings have been given out, please remind your child to practise everyday. They are tricky with very few children getting top marks.

They have produced some detailed maps of the classroom. I’ve asked them to have go at drawing a map of their bedroom if they would like to. They could bring it into class sometime next week. Have a go!

I’m really impressed with the children’s attitude to science. They have fantastic ideas about the world and ask lots of questions. They are starting to realise that science is everywhere around us.
