Sycamore Class – Covid-19 Work

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all keeping well and have had a nice Easter break (albeit a bit quieter than normal!). Here is some more work/activities for you to have a go at over the next couple of weeks. There is more information on the document attached. Sycamore Class – Work for Self-Isolation-Corona 20.4.20 Please just do what you can – it is so important to take care of ourselves both mentally and physically.

Shrewsbury Town in the Community also have a website that is filled with lots of different activities for you to have a go at (including a few dance routines – one you will all definitely know!) https://www.shrewsburytowninthecommunity.com/shrewsathome/

Take care and stay safe!

Sycamore homework

week 5 homework

The children should complete the SPaG sheet by Thursday please.  If your child is unsure of the language I sent home a glossary of terms a few weeks ago- please ask me for another if they can’t find it.

Link to the homework is above if your child has lost theirs.

Homework 18th May

Because it is walk to school week AND art week next week,  I would like the children to do two things:

  1. Complete the walk to school week word search
  2. Design a poster to encourage people to walk/ cycle/ scoot etc to school next week.

Homework for Friday 11th May

For homework this week I have asked the children to search for the sugar content in drinks (at home, in the shops, out for a meal etc).  Next week in science we will be looking at teeth and we will be investigating the sugar content in different drinks. It will be helpful if the children already have some knowledge on this.

Children do not need to bring in drinks or bottles!

Homework

Homework is usually given out on a Friday and collected the following Thursday.

It consists of spellings, Literacy or Maths homework and some foundation homework.

I try to encourage the children to look at their homework as soon as they get it, so that they have plenty of time during the next week to talk to me about it if they do not understand the tasks.

If you would like to discuss your child’s homework, please grab me for a chat on the playground.
