We will be putting together some packs for maths to assist with some of the tasks that are set towards the end of the week and during the following week. The packs will be available for collection from Tuesday onwards.

In the maths boxes below the White Rose lesson link you will find links for the Numberblocks episodes that support that day’s learning if the children would like to watch them. I have also added some useful links below the timetable for story times, phonics, reading and handwriting practice.

In the event of your child being off due to COVID symptoms please see the attached Remote Learning Schedule for the Autumn Term. This will follow broadly what we are doing in class, so please access the links for the correct weeks your child is absent to ensure continuity. The links will open tutorials and activities for your child to complete.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping safe and well.
Please find below some ideas to keep you going over the next couple of weeks until the end of term. Please take a look and have a go at a couple of things that appeal to you.
Work-for-Beech Class COVID19 – July 2020
I’ve suggested making an ‘All About Me’ for your new teacher in September and it would be great to get as many of them as possible emailed in to chestnut@crowmoorschool.co.uk. I would also love to see some pictures of any of the other activities you choose to do so please email them to me at beech@crowmoorschool.co.uk or add a post to Tapestry.
Don’t forget to keep reading a little every day. You should all have your Bug Club login details and I can see who has logged on and how many books you have read, so well done to everyone who’s done that so far. You will have access to this until September so can continue reading through the holidays if you wish. If you are having any issues accessing your account please let me know via the Beech class email address above. I am teaching most days but will pick up emails and respond as soon as possible.
I will be in touch this next week regarding the end of year arrangements for your Tapestry accounts and will be calling everyone before the end of term to say hello.

Hi everyone, hope you are all keeping safe and well and are managing to keep yourselves busy. Hope you’re managing to still keep yourselves busy, despite this horrible weather! Fingers crossed it will brighten up again soon! Here are some home learning ideas for the next couple of weeks.
Work for Beech Class – COVID19 22.06.2020
As always, please don’t worry too much, just do what you can and don’t forget to share what you’ve been doing on Tapestry as it’s always lovely to hear from you and see what you have been up to. Hopefully you have all now found out about your Bug Club online access to reading books and have been able to log on successfully. If you do have any issues accessing Bug Club, Teach Your Monster to Read or Tapestry or you have any queries about the work, please let me know by emailing our class email address beech@crowmoorschool.co.uk and I will do my best to help.
I am in school every day but will be with my year 1 ‘bubble’ 4 days a week from Monday so if you have anything urgent please do still contact the office.

Hello, hope you are all keeping safe and well and have been making the most of the sunshine before the weather took a turn for the worse. Hopefully it won’t be raining for too long, but you never know with the British weather!

As always, please just do what you can and try your best to do a little phonics/reading every day and some maths too. The story I’ve referred to can be found on YouTube but I will also be reading a version that will be posted on Tapestry. It’s been great to hear you’ve been enjoying listening to the stories I’ve read and I will be posting more soon. I’ve also loved seeing your posts about what you’ve been up to and seeing things you’ve made or done so please keep them coming.
