We’ve had a great first week looking the story ‘The Night Pirates’ and the children have got to know it really well, writing about parts of it as well as retelling it from our text map. In maths we have been comparing lengths and heights by beginning to measure them using blocks or our footsteps. Our Paddington Reading Journey started this week so don’t forget to keep reading (5 times a week) and tick off on the special reading journey record in the front of the yellow reading record book.

We are really looking forward to our Pirate Dress up day next Friday (9th February) and to seeing you all at our stay and play session at 2pm that afternoon.
