It’s been another busy week in Beech class learning about Pirates and changing the story I want to be a Pirate into our own version. We had some great ideas, but settled on I want to be a Firefighter and I want to be a Knight and have even managed to write some of the story from our text maps too. We have learnt some more sounds in letters and sounds this week which have been added to our sound bags to practise at home. Please ensure these are in school every day along with reading books and the yellow reading records. Next week we are going to be looking at the story The Night Pirates.

Thank you to all the adults who came to our Stay and Play session last week. We look forward to seeing you at our next one on Friday 9th February at 2pm. This is also our Pirate Dress-up day for the children, so will be a special pirate-themed day.
